Chocolate Fountains - About Us
Who we are and what we do
We're here to help you bring a little extra excitement and enjoyment to any sort of function or event which you may be organising. A chocolate fountain can be the centrepiece of a room, providing a focal point around which guests can socialise whilst also offering a chance to break down the traditionally stuffy social barriers often associated with corporate or business events. Never failing to draw a smile and a laugh from even the sternest of employees or party guests, we are a great believer in the democracy of the chocolate fountain; once you've seen someone drop a fully-coated marshmallow down their new white Vera Wang then a certain sense of comradery is established!
If you've decided that a chocolate fountain is going to bring that extra zest to your event (and a very good decision you've made too!) then you may well get into a panic about where you're going to get one from, if you might have to build one yourself or indeed how to even begin organising the logistics of it. We are here to stop you melting bars of chocolate over precariously balanced assemblies of Tupperware- let us take care of all the organisation and worrying for you!
We're here to do all the leg work so you can have all the fun: simply fill out the enquiry form down the right-hand side of the page and we will get back to you with a quote faster than you can shout Milk Chocolate. By making the enquiry process as simple as possible, we hope to leave you plenty of time to organise the rest of your event or party; there's no longer need to get stuck up the proverbial chocolate fountain without a paddle.
So what can chocolate fountains.co.uk do for you?
Our chocolate fountain packages include the delivery, setup , collection and cleaning of your chocolate fountain; you get to make as much mess as you want and we have to clean it up (well the machine anyway, you will have to get the dry-cleaning bill for your new shirt!) If this weren't enough we also offer you a chocolate operator for the night- your very own Willy Wonka to make sure that you and your guests get the most out of your chocolatey experience. Plates, dips, skewers and an exciting selection of dipping foods will also be laid on – we really do take care of everything. The only decisions you have to make are between marshmallows and strawberries!
The chocolate operator will be able to perform the following tasks for you:
- The swift and safe transporting of the chocolate equipment to your chosen venue and the efficient setting up of the fountain at a time which suits you and your guests.
- The exciting task of melting the chocolate and starting the machine going
- They will greet guests and will be professional and highly personable throughout the whole of your event/evening
- Perhaps importantly, as your chocolate fountain is sure to be a huge hit with your guests, the chocolate operator (wouldn't you just kill for that job title?) will ensure that the chocolate is kept flowing at all times and will also make sure that all dips and snacks are replenished and that any spillages are swiftly seen to.
- At the end of the night, the chocolate operator will dismantle the fountain and take it away- sorry guys but you don't get to keep it!
The feedback we get from our chocolate operators, from the comments they receive from people whilst working, are always highly favourable and the hiring of a chocolate fountain really is an inventive and popular way to get people talking at a party. It's certainly much safer than an office-wide game of piñata and tends to result in much less embarrassment than a traditional drinking game might.
We've said that you don't have to make any decisions and that we handle all the work but we were mistaken. There is one crucial, integral part of the puzzle which you yourselves must decide on. Perhaps a committee should be convened, party-planners consulted and memo's dutifully written, for this is a major issue: which type of chocolate do you want in your fountain?
The Types of Chocolate:
Not the most popular chocolate in the country, but certainly one which is a guilty pleasure of many. It gets its dark colouring from its 30%-75% make-up from solid cocoa. There is also little or no milk in dark chocolate- this all means that a dark chocolate fountain will give guests or visitors a rich and quite intense flavour which may not be to everyone's taste. It may be worth taking a discreet poll of people's chocolate preferences before embarking upon the hiring of a dark chocolate fountain.
Ahhh, milk chocolate, the nations favourite. It is the chocolate used in most confectionary and is also the best-selling type of chocolate and thus is sure to go down a treat with your gathered guests. It contains about 10-20% cocoa and over 12% milk. It is sure to go down well with a majority of people and is certainly the 'safe' bet when considering which chocolate to choose.
We all remember little bars of white chocolate from our childhoods and this could be the perfect to live out the childhood dream of having your very own white-chocolate fountain! In fact, we're sorry to burst your bubble but, technically, this isn't actually a chocolate as it contains no cocoa solids. It is made with milk, sugar, cocoa butter and vanilla; despite not technically being chocolate it is still one of the country's best loved types of chocolate and will make a great choice for a fountain; the off-white colour provides a dynamic and exciting change from the normal brown-chocolate fountain. If you want to stand out from the crowd, and bring a touch of class to any event, a white chocolate fountain could be just the thing you're looking for.
