Charity Event For Yorkshire Air Ambulance

This weekend chocolate fountains travelled across the border into Yorkshire to support Jo Mclaughlan and her fundraiser for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Friends and supporters came along to a fun evening planned by Jo to raise money for the charity and go towards supporting the fantastic work that the air ambulance provides.  The venue was a lovely restaurant called the Dolce Vita in Scissett.

We learnt that this vital service to the area requires £7200 per day to keep its two air craft maintained and in the air.  Without these funds the service would not be able to be operative.

Jo put together the evening to raise funds which are going towards the Pedal For Pounds 3 In Aid Of Keep It Up Campaign which is a bike ride from Yeovil to Huddersfield.  Each cyclist is aiming to raise £1000 each for the charity.

The evening including live entertainment from one of the guests.  Several Elvis numbers were sung for all the guests to enjoy.sing along and dance to.

We provided a 44″ milk chocolate fountain for all the guests to enjoy.  Fresh strawberries and bananas were accompanied by shortbread, pink wafers, mini doughnuts, fudge, jelly babies and the all time favourite marshmallows.

I received a lovely phone call today to say that everyone enjoyed the fountain and that the evening planned by Jo was an entire success.

Chocolate fountains would like to wish Jo, Andy and everyone who is taking part in the bike ride the best of luck.
